SG Ball side trounces Bears for first win

In an emphatic display the One New Zealand Warriors rebounded from their first-round loss with a resounding 48-12 win over the North Sydney Bears in Sunday’s round two encounter in Pukekohe.

Last week the under-19 Warriors let a winning chance slip against Parramatta but there was no let-up this time.

While they conceded a try in the opening minute they then found their groove in a much-improved performance scoring nine tries to two.

Up 16-6 at half time, they scored at near a point a minute in the second half as they rattled on 32 points with winger Rapheal Sio snaring a double.

The Warriors are away next weekend to a Sydney Roosters side which had won two from two.
