Vodafone Warriors captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck wasn't too far short of the 300-metre mark again in the side's disappointing 26-27 loss to Canterbury-Bankstown in today's 23rd-round NRL match in Sydney.

He ran a phenomenal 338 metres in last week's 20-4 victory over Newcastle and was back eating up the metres today yet missing out on the ultimate satisfaction of a vital victory to go with it.

This time he finished with 273 metres from another 24 energetic runs including 103 post-contact metres. He also had eight tackle breaks.

The Vodafone Warriors dominated possession 58 per cent to 42 per cent, completing 33 of 38 sets (87 per cent) including 20 from 21 (95 per cent) in the second half. They ran 1738 metres to just 1325 for the Bulldogs and also led the penalty count 9-5.
