One New Zealand Warriors front rower Demitric Vaimauga has been sidelined with a rib injury for a yet to be determined time frame.
Vaimauga was ruled out of his would-be 49th career appearance against the Titans last Saturday after picking up the injury in the Warriors’ final training session on the Gold Coast last Friday.
While he is out, fullback Taine Tuaupiki is available again this week after being ruled out with a foot injury last weekend. It was initially indicated he could be out for one or two weeks.
Of those on the NRLW squad’s injury list, hooker Jay Huriwai has been named in the extended squad to face Newcastle after following head injury protocols last week.
Closing in on being available are outside back Anastasia Sekene, middle forward Matekino Gray and Laishon Albert-Jones.
