Library visits are once again a feature of the Vodafone Warriors' community programme at this time of the year.

Schools across Auckland are involved in the club's well-established League in Libraries literacy programme run by Harvey Norman Community Warriors.

Groups of players join schools at local libraries to lead fun activities designed to underline the importance of reading and writing as well as promoting the 'reading is cool' message.

A trip to the Otara Library was special for Vodafone Warriors Manu Vatuvei, Ali Lauitiiti and Sam Lisone who relished the opportunity to engage with the community in their own home town. It was especially poignant for Vatuvei and Lauitiiti; they both had daughters among the Room 2 pupils there from Flatbush's Baverstock Oaks School.

Other schools which with the chance to meet Vodafone Warriors players at this year's League in Libraries visits are Puhinui Primary School, Wesley Primary School, Birdwood School, Hauraki School and Verran Primary School.
