Tuivasa-Sheck confirms season-ending ACL injury

One New Zealand Warriors outside back Roger Tuivasa-Sheck has been ruled out for the rest of the season with an ACL injury suffered in Saturday’s match against the Dragons.

The 32-year-old confirmed fears of the injury on his Instagram account.

“That’s my footy for the year. ACL confirmed. Tough to accept but the season goes on. We got something special going. Big love for all the messages,” he wrote.

The injury to Tuivasa-Sheck's left knee happened 11 minutes into his 158th appearance for the Warriors and the 242nd of his NRL career.

It’s the second ACL setback for the One New Zealand Warriors within a week with halfback Tanah Boyd struck down early in the Magic Round match at Suncorp Stadium.
