The Vodafone Warriors are reaching out to their army of fans in Australia with this week’s launch of new 2015 regional away membership packages tailored specifically for supporters in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
Now on sale at www.warriorsforever.co.nz the three initial regional memberships are named NSW Warrior, QLD Warrior and VIC Warrior.
Vodafone Warriors managing director Jim Doyle said the packages had been created to give the club’s huge fan base in Australia a closer connection with their team.
“We love the way ex-patriate Kiwis turn out in such amazing numbers to support the Vodafone Warriors when we take on teams in Australia,” he said.
“Every time we play the Storm, Broncos, Titans and most clubs in Sydney, our fans drown out the locals. The noise they make and the passion they show is brilliant and we know how much the players appreciate the way they back their team and help to lift the boys.
“We’ve had some hugely successful members-only events in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne and Sydney and now we want to give our supporters in Australia the chance to forge a closer and stronger link with the team through our regional membership initiative.
“It’s great being a fan but being a member takes the experience to another level.”
While the regional memberships are on offer for the first time, the Vodafone Warriors again have the Warrior Proud away membership option.
Vodafone Warriors regional away memberships (NSW Warrior, QLD Warrior and VIC Warrior) offer these benefits:
- A ticket to a Vodafone Warriors game in the respective region and an invitation to an exclusive meet the team event (the choice of game will be based on the draw which is yet to be confirmed)
- A Vodafone Warriors 20th anniversary cap and pack
- Vodafone Warriors jerseys available through www.warriorsstore.co.nz at $NZ150 all year round (RRP $NZ185); no GST charged on overseas deliveries
- A ticket to a Vodafone Warriors home game of your choice at Mount Smart Stadium (transferable if member is unable to travel to Auckland)
- A family option (two adults and two children 15 and under) which includes a pass to a Vodafone Warriors game in the respective region plus four Vodafone Warriors 20th anniversary caps and packs
The adult regional away membership costs $NZ79 while the family membership is priced at $NZ179.
