One New Zealand Warriors centre Adam Pompey has been granted a release from the last year of his contract to continue his NRL career in Australia.
The 28-year-old, who made his debut as Warrior #237 in 2019, departs after eight seasons with the club.
“Adam has performed consistently for us since his arrival in 2019,” said One New Zealand Warriors general manager recruitment, pathways and development Andrew McFadden.
“We appreciate the contribution he has made in his time here and wish him and his family the very best for what lies ahead for them in Australia.”
In his 136 NRL appearances for the Warriors, Pompey has scored 288 points from 39 tries and 66 goals.
