JFC Team List: Aiming to build on return to winning form

After snapping a three-game losing streak last week, the One New Zealand Warriors will be out to back up their return to winning form in their round eight Jersey Flegg Cup (under-21) clash against the Kaiviti Silktails at FMG Stadium Waikato in Hamilton today (2.00pm kick-off).

They go into the contest sitting seventh on eight points with a 4-3 record while the Fijian side is 13th after just one win.

While last week’s victory was against bottom of the table Manly Warringah, the 30-6 win was a confidence booster following three straight losses to the Tigers, Sharks and Storm.

Backline changes have been made with the exciting Sio Kali joining the equally promising Motu Pasikala in the centres while the absence of halves Jack Thompson and Harry Inch sees the versatile Tyson Hansen named at halfback to partner Maui Winitana-Patelesio at standoff.

The Flegg match is the second leg of a doubleheader in Hamilton today following the New South Wales Cup encounter between the Warriors and the North Sydney Bears.
