First SG Ball Cup side named for 2024 season

A stern challenge awaits the One New Zealand Warriors when they kick off their 2024 SG Ball Cup campaign in Sydney on Sunday.

The Grant Pocklington-coached side faces the Parramatta Eels, who beat Newcastle 28-20 to win the SG Ball Cup premiership last year.

Pocklington has named his first line-up of the season including some players who were in the the squad last year.

Among them are co-captains Kayliss Fatialofa and Jaydee Auloa plus winger Raphael Sio and Rodney Tuipulotu Vea.
