All on the line for Vodafone Warriors

The Vodafone Warriors are still a chance of making the Canterbury Cup NSW finals but they’ll need some serious help when they line up in their final regular season match against Western Suburbs at Mount Smart Stadium on Saturday (12.05pm kick-off).

Heading into the 24th round, the Vodafone Warriors lie ninth on the ladder on 20 points, two behind the eighth-placed Wentworthville Magpies.

However, the Magpies had a superior points for and against differential of minus one compared to the Vodafone Warriors’ minus 39.

To snare eight spot the Vodafone Warriors will have to win by a healthy margin in their match against the 10th-placed Wests and then hope for Wentworthville to lose heavily to top-placed Soiuth Sydney later on Saturday.

In the early game at Mount Smart on Saturday, the Vodafone Junior Warriors – 10th on 19 points and out of finals contention – take on the ninth-placed Wests Tigers.
