Vodafone Junior Warriors players dominate the New Zealand Residents side to face Toa Samoa in Saturday’s under-18 international at Pulman Park in Papakura.

Of the 18 players selected, 13 are with the club while a 14th – Isaiah Vagana – is on standby.

Among the 13 are the Vodafone Junior Warriors’ Jersey Flegg Rookie of the Year Kayal Iro and captain Tyler Slade.

Also involved are Vodafone Warriors academy staff members Tusa Lafaele and Jasen McCarthy.

“We are very proud of our Vodafone Warriors contingent who have earnt the opportunity to put the black and white jersey on, both players and staff,” said Vodafone Warriors general manager football Brian Smith.

“It also reminds you how young our Jersey Flegg squad is to have so many still eligible.”
