Melbourne Storm v North Queensland Cowboys, Thursday 8.05pm AEDT at AAMI Park

In a game day switch, Kenny Bromwich is out of the Storm squad, with his spot in the 17 taken by Brandon Smith. Bromwich, Billy Walters, Young Tonumaipea and Tui Kamikamica were the four omissions from the 21-man squad named on Tuesday.

The Cowboys will start the match 1-17, with Corey Jensen and Enari Tuala the final two men to drop off the interchange bench. Michael Morgan has been named to make his return from an abdominal strain, pushing Te Maire Martin to the bench and Corey Jensen to the reserves. Coen Hess moves into the starting side for Ethan Lowe. Kyle Laybutt and Francis Molo were dropped from the squad 24 hours prior to kick-off. 

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs v Penrith Panthers, Friday 6pm AEDT at ANZ Stadium

Aispeli Fine and Kerrod Holland were dropped from the squad an hour before kick-off. Renouf Toomaga and John Olive were the dropped from the squad 24 hours before kick-off. Five-eighth Matt Frawley has been dropped with Jeremy Marshall-King called into the starting side and Nu Brown taking the bench utility role. Aiden Tolman starts at lock, pushing Adam Elliott back to the bench.

In a pair of late changes to the forward pack, James Fisher-Harris and Corey Harawira-Naera have been brought into the starting side, with James Tamou and Viliame Kikau moving back to the interchange bench. Those moves come after Christian Crichton was been brought into the starting side after it was discovered that Dallin Watene-Zelezniak broke his jaw last weekend. Moses Leota returns on the bench for Sam McKendry (ACL, season). Sione Katoa and Nick Lui-Toso were the two players to be dropped off the bench an hour before kick-off.

In a late change, Matt McIlwrick will start at hooker, with Pita Godinet dropping back to the bench. Tyson Gamble and Tim Grant were the last two men dropped off the interchange bench. Elijah Taylor (hamstring) is out with Matt Eisenhuth starting at lock and Michael Chee Kam on the bench. The side is otherwise unchanged meaning fullback Corey Thompson and David Nofoaluma hold their spots with Tuimoala Lolohea not yet back. Sauaso Sue and Taane Milne were dropped off the reserves bench 24 hours out from kick-off.

Jack Bird will play his first game with the Broncos at centre in his return from off-season shoulder surgery. Tom Opacic has dropped back to the interchange bench. Todd Murphy and Jayden S'Ua were the last two men to drop off the interchange bench.

Aidan Sezer has been named to start at five-eighth with Blake Austin dropping to the bench. Joey Leilua has been named to start at centre despite looking to pick up an ankle injury last week. Liam Knight has been named to make his club debut in jersey 17 following Charlie Gubb's injury, though Joe Tapine (thumb) is out. Tapine and Ata Hingano were the two names omitted from the bench when the Raiders culled their squad 24 hours out from kick-off. Michael Oldfield and Royce Hunt are the last two to drop off the bench as the Raiders are unchanged.

Leivaha Pulu starts for Isaiah Papali'i (knee, six weeks) and Agnatius Paasi joins the bench with Simon Mannering not yet back from a shoulder injury. Hooker Jazz Tevaga replaces bench utility Sam Cook. Anthony Gelling and Chris Satae were dropped from the six-man bench on Friday.

Robbie Farah and Braidon Burns were dropped from the bench an hour before kickoff. Jason Clark and Kyle Turner were the two players to drop out when the squad was reduced from 21 to 19 players 24-hours out from kick-off. Hymel Hunt replaces Tyrell Fuimaono (dislocated toe) on the bench in the only change for the Rabbitohs. Captain Greg Inglis has been named to start at centre despite leaving the field with a head knock last week.

Matthew Wright and Frank Winterstein were the last two men dropped from the Manly be Jack Gosiewski and Darcy Lussick were dropped from the squad 24-hours out from kick-off. The Sea Eagles are unsurprisingly unchanged after their huge win over the Eels on Sunday.

Kane Evans will start the match, the Daniel Alvaro dopping back to the bench. Coach Brad Arthur has resisted the urge for mass changes after the horror loss to Manly. Beau Scott returns on the bench in place of Will Smith who drops to the reserves while Daniel Alvaro is back in the run-on side in place of Kane Evans (bench). Kenny Edwards returns from an ankle injury via the interchange in place of Brad Takairangi, who copped a stray elbow to the face last week. David Gower and Kaysa Pritchard were dropped off the bench 24 hours prior to kick-off, with Suaia Matagi and Peni Terepo omitted an hour before the game started.

Trent Hodkinson (No.22) has been brought into the starting side and is in line to make his Sharks debut. Young gun Jesse Ramien has been called up in place of centre Aaron Gray in the Sharks' only change. Luke Lewis features in the reserves list as he looks to make a comeback from a foot injury. Jack Williams and Luke Lewis were dropped from the bench 24 hours prior to kick-off.

Leilani Latu has dropped back to the bench. AJ Brimson and Tyronne Roberts-Davis were the two players dropped off the reserves bench 24 hours out from kick-off. Joe Greenwood and Will Matthews have missed the final cut.
