Finals football is on the menu for the fourth straight season since the Vodafone Warriors took over control of the Intrust Super Premiership team in 2014.

The Ricky Henry-coached side, which finished second in the regular season, will face Penrith in Sunday's week one playoff at UOW Jubilee Oval in Sydney (4.00pm kick-off local time, 6.00pm NZT).

A core group of 15 players has been key to the Vodafone Warriors' campaign this year with utility Sam Cook and centre-wing Junior Pauga appearing in all 22 matches so far. Second rower Ofahiki Ogden has missed only one game and prop Toafofoa Sipley two.

The other players who have featured strongly have been Chris Satae, Pat Sipley and Semisi Fotu with 18 games each while Matt Allwood, Mason Lino, Daniel Palavi and Jazz Tevaga have all played 17 times. James Bell (16), Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad (13), Isaiah Papali'i (12) and Paulos Latu (12) have been the other regulars.

Pauga is the top try-scorer so far with 13 while Lino is the leading points-scorer for the third year running with 142 to date.

The Vodafone Warriors have used 41 players during the ISP season with Nicoll-Klokstad, Papali'i, Satae, Bell and the now-departed Erin Clark all making their NRL debuts in 2017.

Early in the season Bell (62 games) became the first player to make 50 appearances for the club in the competition with Lino (53 games) following.
