Former Vodafone Warriors head of athletic development Carl Jennings has received the New Zealand Bravery Award from the Governor-General, the Rt Hon Dame Patsy Reddy, at an investiture ceremony in Wellington.
Jennings was honoured for his part in a dramatic rescue when he saved a woman from a "blazing inferno" when he was living in Auckland in November, 2012.
