Several changes have been made to the Vodafone Warriors’ line-up for today’s 15th-round Intrust Super Premiership match against Newtown at Henson Park (3.00pm kick-off local time; 5.00pm NZT).

Marata Niukore comes up from the NYC side to start in the centres, Mason Lino has been brought off the bench to start in the halves – and captain the side – while Ali Lauitiiti starts in the second row and Upu Poching at loose forward.

James Bell is the only original selection still on the bench. He’s joined by debutant Ofahiki Ogden – originally named to start – Patrick Sipley and Viliami Kaveinga.

The top-placed Vodafone Warriors have lost Ata Hingano, Jonathan Wright and John Palavi.

With so many changes to their side, the Vodafone Warriors face a stern test in their quest for an eighth straight victory, even more so given Newtown’s form coming off a 54-6 win over Wentworthville which has it running third.
