Ali Lauitiiti starts in the front row replacing an injured James Gavet in the Vodafone Warriors’ 14th-round Intrust Super Premiership match against Newcastle at Hunter Stadium today (12.40pm kick-off local time; 2.40pm NZT).

Gavet (knee) was the player of the day in last week’s 32-20 win over Wentworthville.

With Lauitiiti brought in off the bench to start, Tomas Aoake joins the interchange alongside Mason Lino, Upu Poching and James Bell.

The second-placed Vodafone Warriors are seeking their seventh straight win against a Newcastle side lying 12th on the ladder.
