Auckland’s Fox Memorial and Sharman Cup competitions roll into gear this weekend peaking with a Fox grand final rematch between premiership-winning Point Chevalier and Mount Albert on Mount Smart Stadium #2 on Sunday.

The action starts tomorrow but the match-up between the Pirates and the Lions will take centre stage in the second leg of a Sunday doubleheader.

The Ellerslie Eagles open the day when they take on the Bay Roskill Vikings in the Crown Lift Trucks Sharman Cup Premiership, the curtain raiser to the SAS Fox Memorial game.

Autex Pt Chevalier and Mount Albert will also be playing for the Stormont Shield (champion of champions) in the main game.

Saturday’s clashes feature Richmond returning to first division to take on Marist.
