Vodafone Warriors Thomas Leuluai, Ryan Hoffman and Ken Maumalo spent last Saturday exploring the sights and sounds at SKYCITY’s Federal Street Festival in Auckland’s CBD.
The free two-day public event was abuzz with live entertainment and pop-up stalls from each of the street’s signature restaurants.
The players had a tough time choosing what to spend their festival dollars on but in the end the decision was unanimous. They opted for the suckling pig fritter sliders from The Grill, gochujang lamb cutlets from Masu and a sneaky New York cheesecake from Federal Delicatessen.
The three Vodafone Warriors weren’t the only high profile athletes among the crowd. They were joined by members of the SKYCITY Breakers, the Mystics and the Blues.
Festival goers were also treated to a taste of SKYCITY’s newest eatery, Andy’s Burgers & Bar, set to open in mid-December.
