Vodafone Warriors back rower Ryan Hoffman delivered another whole-hearted effort for New South Wales in its series-levelling 26-18 win over Queensland in Origin II at the MCG last night.
After being taken off the field to be checked for concussion just before halftime, the veteran was cleared to return for the start of the second half playing a total of 73 minutes in the seven-try thriller.
He had a game-high 19 runs and gained 146 metres, the second most by any forward on the field behind Aaron Woods. He also made 25 tackles.
His Vodafone Warriors team-mate - but opponent on the night - Jacob Lillyman was again used in one stint before and after halftime for Queensland. In 26 minutes on the field he made 55 metres from seven runs plus 18 tackles.
