NSW Warriors members and supporters have the chance to meet the Vodafone Warriors after their 10th-round NRL clash against the Parramatta Eels at Pirtek Stadium on Saturday, May 16 (3.00pm kick-off local time; 5.00pm NZT).

The encounter provides another big moment in the 20th anniversary season – the Vodafone Warriors’ landmark 500th game since joining the competition in 1995.

After the match the club’s army of New South Wales members and fans will be able to mix and mingle with captain Simon Mannering and the players at a function at the Novotel, Sydney Olympic Park.

“This event reinforces our focus on growing our membership in New South Wales,” said Vodafone Warriors membership manager William Felgate.

“We launched region specific memberships for New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia this year and the response in New South Wales has been fantastic.

“This is an opportunity for those members and also for our supporters in the region to get up close and personal with the players.”

The team will arrive at the function after a recovery session and will be available for photos and autographs.

At the function MC Gordon Gibbons will be joined by head coach Andrew McFadden and captain Mannering to discuss the team’s performance. Signed balls and a signed jersey will be up for grabs.

Families are welcome and there will be cash bar facilities while food is included with the price of admission. The event is scheduled to run from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.

NSW Warriors members have access to members-only pricing for the function while Vodafone Warriors supporters are also able to purchase tickets through the booking form.
