The Australian selectors and head coach Tim Sheens have today included Vodafone Warriors prop Jacob Lillyman in the initial train-on squad for the upcoming Four Nations and Prime Minister’s XIII match against Papua New Guinea.

Lillyman featured in all 24 of the Vodafone Warriors' regular season matches this season and also regained his place in Queensland's State of Origin side.

The squad contains a mix of experienced stars along with new talent including Anthony Milford, Jack Wighton, Jarrod Croker and Michael Gordon.

Each week players will be added to the squad as teams are eliminated from the finals series and a final squad for the Prime Minister’s XIII will be announced on September 29.

The Prime Minister’s team will play the PNG Kumuls at Kokopo on Sunday, October 12.

The Four Nations squad will be announced following this game.
