Charity Partner: This weekend the Vodafone Warriors are getting behind our charity partner NZ Spinal Trust and RiseForAlex Alex McKinnon Foundation. RiseForAlex was established to provide relief to Alex McKinnon, a Newcastle Knights professional Rugby League footballer, who suffered devastating spinal injuries in a rugby league tackle in March 2014. The NRL are getting behind The RiseForAlex Fund which raises funds to provide Alex with ongoing financial and medical support, allowing Alex to focus on his recovery and rehabilitation. As part of the fundraising, NZ fans will be able to support the RiseForAlex fund and the NZ Spinal Trust by purchasing a special RiseForAlex rubber wristband from the Vodafone Warriors office at Mt Smart Stadium from Monday or on Game Day.

You can use regular service public transport to get to and from the Vodafone Warriors at Mt Smart Stadium. Penrose Station is just a short walk down O’Rourke Road to the stadium entrance, and regular route buses operate in the area.
