Winger Metia Lisati returns from a long injury lay-off to line up for the Vodafone Junior Warriors in their 12th-round NYC encounter with Newcastle at Mount Smart Stadium today (1.40pm kick-off; match day sponsor: Canterbury of New Zealand).
Lisati made four NYC appearances early in the season before being promoted to make his New South Wales Cup debut against Canterbury-Bankstown at Eden Park on April 13 only to be forced off with an ankle injury.
A member of the Vodafone Junior Warriors’ NYC grand final side, Lisati comes into today’s clash with four tries in his four games this year. He replaces John Wesley Tauti.
The rest of the line-up is as named earlier in the week with co-captain Mason Lino making his 50th NYC appearance.
After beating Gold Coast last Saturday, the Vodafone Junior Warriors today face the challenge of taking on the competition’s leading side in the Knights.
