GOLD COAST TITANS v VODAFONE JUNIOR WARRIORS

Cbus Super Stadium, Robina

3.15pm, Saturday, May 24

Referees: Chris James and Clayton Sharpe.

Injuries to centre Lafu Feagaiga and halfback Mikaere Beattie have forced a backline reshuffle for the Vodafone Junior Warriors’ 11th-round NYC c lash against Gold Coast in Robina today (3.15pm kick-off local time; 5.15pm NZT).

Former Dilworth School pupil and Marist junior Alamoti Finau moves off the interchange to replace Feagaiga while Mount Albert Grammar School product Nathaniel Roache is also promoted from the bench to join Ata Hingano in the halves.

Ofahiki Ogden and Jazz Tevaga are recalled to join comeback centre Ngataua Hukatai and prop Toafofoa Sipley on the interchange.

While Hukatai will give coach Stacey Jones’ side much-needed experience in what will be his 46th NYC appearance only two other players – Adam Tuimavave-Gerrard and Kouma Samson – have substantial careers in the competition.
