First graders Sione Lousi, Charlie Gubb and Dominique Peyroux have all been named to line up for the Vodafone Warriors in their eighth-round New South Wales Cup clash against Newtown at Henson Park in Sydney on Saturday (3.00pm kick-off local time; 5.00pm NZT).
Lousi is back in action after being suspended for the last three matches while Gubb and Peyroux return to the New South Wales Cup after three NRL games each in recent weeks.
At the same time standoff Chad Townsend and loose forward Feleti Mateo have both gone up to the NRL side to face Melbourne on Anzac Day after playing in the New South Wales Cup competition the last two weeks.
Selected at fullback after his try-scoring comeback last week is fullback Kevin Locke while Konrad Hurrell is again named in the centres with Carlos Tuimavave.
Aside from Sione Lousi, Gubb, Peyroux, Locke, Hurrell and Tuimavave, there’s more NRL experience on hand in second rower John Palavi and interchange back rower Sam Lousi as well as prop Upu Poching, a one-game Vodafone Warrior in 2010.
Captain Steve Waetford returns after missing Saturday’s 35-28 win against the Illawarra Cutters with concussion.
