Feleti Mateo's getting one back for the Vodafone Warriors in the NRL's membership race.

Mateo has been caught in the crossfire as players from all clubs taunt each other in a bid to boost their membership drive.

First Penrith's Tim Grant texted Mateo non-stop about the Panthers' numbers - and now Feleti has called out Newcastle's Robbie Rochow.

Over the past week Wests Tigers captain Robbie Farah has been taking shots at Daly Cherry-Evans about Manly's numbers, the Cowboys have been onto the Titans and the Broncos have been taking a crack at the Rabbitohs.

The players know what a difference members make to their clubs both on and off the field and now they're in competition to see who can sign up the most members for 2014. What's more theyll do anything to tell each other how fast their numbers are climbing at their club.

As well as Mateo, watch players including Greg Inglis, Johnathan Thurston and Josh Morris getting behind the games 2014 membership drive.
