Centre Solomone Kata makes another injury comeback in a much-changed Vodafone Junior Warriors line-up for today's 26th-round NYC clash against St George Illawarra in Wollongong. Photo: Photosport

Halfback Mason Lino and centre Solomone Kata return from injury but the Vodafone Junior Warriors will be missing some strike power when they take on St George Illawarra in their final regular season NYC clash at WIN Stadium in Wollongong today (10.45am kick-off local time; 12.45pm NZT).

Fullback David Fusitua, centre Ngataua Hukatai and powerful interchange forward Abraham Papalii are all out after featuring in last Saturdays high-quality contest with competition leader Canberra.

The Vodafone Junior Warriors were right in that match, level 16-16 heading into the final stages, before losing 16-26.

The result meant the 2010-2011 NYC premiers wouldnt make the top four but they have extended their remarkable record of reaching the finals in each of the NYCs six seasons, the only club to do so.

With Fusitua, Hukatai and Papalii out today, Viliami Kaveinga starts at fullback, Kata in the centres and Trent Bishop comes onto the bench. As well as Lino and Kata and Bishop, another player coming back into the line-up is winger Braxton Stanley; he was originally named last week but was subsequently ruled out.

Kaveinga made an exceptional return from injury last week, making 185 metres from 18 runs.
