The Canterbury of New Zealand Defender of Month is Nathan Friend
Friendy takes the Canterbury of New Zealand Defender of Month award for the second time having been previously named in MAY. Over July Nathan has continued his good work in defence making 148 tackles in 240 minutes of footy, thats a tackle every 1.6 minutes
The Asics Attacking Player of Month is Shaun Johnson
Shaun "Magic" Johnson has been in sensational form over July playing the full 80 minutes in each game chiming in with four try assists, three tackle breaks, three off loads, two line breaks, four line break assists, dotting down for two tries, and scoring a total of 34 point.
Vodafone Team-Mate of the Month is Dominique Peyroux
Dominique Peyroux sat on the bench for 80 minutes against South Sydney and never got on the field, but showed an exemplary attitude in his support for the team and never once complained. Dominique was also a massive impact, turned the games against the Tigers and Storm around for us when he got on the field. Dom has also shown that attitude in the gym doing extras sessions to to improve his strength and fitness.
