The Auckland Vulcans will take the field as named for their season-opening New South Wales Cup encounter with the Manly Sea Eagles at Brookvale today (3.00pm kick-off; 5.00pm NZ time).

The line-up features 11 players from the squad the Vodafone Warriors used during the 2012-13 offseason, another who played in the clubs NRL trial against Gold Coast and two others who are former Vodafone Junior Warriors.

Among the 11 from the NRL squad are experienced 2010-12 first-grade winger Bill Tupou, 16-game NRL hooker Alehana Mara and new signings Dominique Peyroux and Harry Siejka, who have both played NRL matches for Gold Coast and Penrith.
