The Vodafone Warriors and the Blues are proud to announce a combined ticketing deal going on sale to sporting fans today.

With the Vodafone Warriors starting their NRL campaign on March 9 and the Blues kicking off in rugby unions Super 15 this week, both codes felt it was a good time to launch the year with a special offer to members and supporters.

Termed the South Stand Special, the double offer applies to home games for both codes at Eden Park in March.

The first match is the Blues clash against the Bulls in a Sunday afternoon game on March 10. The following Saturday (March 16) the Vodafone Warriors face the Sonny Bill Williams-boosted Sydney Roosters.

Its great for Auckland to see the Vodafone Warriors and the Blues working together for what will be a fantastic week for both of us at New Zealands premier sporting venue, said Vodafone Warriors chief executive Wayne Scurrah.

Weve had great events at Eden Park against Parramatta and Manly the last two seasons and were really excited about this years encounter with the Roosters.

Blues CEO Andy Dalton added: We are trialing something not done before between the Blues and the Warriors.

With the two games being on consecutive weekends, it offers Auckland sports fans the opportunity to go along to both matches, have great covered seats and support their local teams. Add the cost-saving aspect to it and we believe it's a pretty exciting offer.

Patrons who buy the tickets are guaranteed discounted rates for covered South Stand seats at Eden Park for both matches.

For two cracker games of footy within six days, its a feast for rugby union and rugby league fans. What would normally cost a total of $80.00 for a great covered seat at both games is available for pre-purchase at $55.

Numbers are strictly limited so get in quick to get your South Stand Special tickets from www.ticketmaster.co.nz or www.ticketek.co.nz (Ticket fees will apply).
