Launched today: Te Arahi, the jersey the One New Zealand Warriors’ NRL and NRLW teams will wear to observe Indigenous Round in their home games on August 7 and 8.
The club’s NRL side will don the striking strip in the round 23 NRL game against the Panthers at Go Media Stadium on Friday, August 7.
And the following night the women will wear Te Arahi in their round six NRLW clash against the Knights at FMG Stadium Waikato in Hamilton.
The jersey went on presale to One New Zealand Warriors members at 8.00am today (Wednesday, July 29) and will be on sale to the public through warriorsstore.co.nz from 7.00 tonight.
The Dynasty Sport strip has again been designed by Jayden Hokianga, the creator of the club’s 2025 NRL and NRLW Indigenous jerseys.

“Te Arahi speaks about being a leader. It’s representative of different styles of leadership, different influences of leadership,” he said.
“All the players will have different ideas of leadership and they’ll think of different people who have been leaders to them. That’s what this jersey is celebrating.
“The main challenge was being mindful that it’s representing both wahine and tane so I wanted to create something that aesthetically suited both.”

In its description of Te Arahi and its meaning, Dynasty Sport says it was “inspired by the sacred earthly tones of Papatūānuku, drawing its strength from the whenua.
