NRLW Sunday: Dragons claim first win; Raiders run riot

The Dragons are on the board for 2026 after claiming a 22-8 victory over the Eels on Sunday afternoon which also featured back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

After going down to the Raiders in Round 1, a four-try first-half haul was enough for St George to outclass the Eels who have been left still searching for their first win for the season.

Star fullback Teagan Berry led the way for the Red V women with a performance that consisted of 180 run metres, three tackle breaks and a try. Meanwhile, local halfback Kasey Reh also stood tall for the winning side, controlling proceedings with her impressive kicking game.

Earlier on Sunday, we kicked off at GIO Stadium where the Raiders continued their dream start with a 42-16 triumph over the Warriors.

Star halfback Zahara Temara put on a masterclass for the Green Machine with four try assists, three tackle breaks and 142 run metres.

The Warriors who lost their star five-eighth Gayle Broughton to injury earlier in the week couldn't match it with the Raiders, however it was a day out to remember for winger Ocean Tierney who scored a double on debut.
