One New Zealand Warriors teammates Mitchell Barnett and Kurt Capewell go head-to-head as enemies for the third time this season in next week’s State of Origin series decider.
The veteran campaigners have retained their places for the Suncorp Stadium showdown on Wednesday week, Barnett named to start at prop for New South Wales and Capewell in the second row for Queensland.
The series is tied 1-1 after the Blues won 22-20 at Accor Stadium in Sydney before the Maroons triumphed 44-24 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Barnett is set for his fifth Origin appearance on the back of two big performances for the One New Zealand Warriors, making 191 metres against the Cowboys and 154 metres against the Dolphins.
Capewell, who plays his 16th Origin match next week, missed the match against North Queensland but played 80 minutes against the Dolphins making 86 metres and 45 tackles.
