Warriors Watch: Stats wrap from round two of Pacific Championships

Wrapping the statistics for One New Zealand Warriors players on show in the second round of the Pacific Championships last weekend.

Most attention focused on Suncorp Stadium where a huge crowd of 44,682 saw Toa Sāmoa put on a show in crushing Tonga 34-6.

There were four Warriors involved, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and Chanel Harris-Tavita for Toa Sāmoa and Leka Halasima and Demitric Vaimauga for Tonga.

Tuivasa-Sheck was all hustle and bustle at fullback, providing the same level of involvement he consistently did on the wing for the Warriors this year. He finished with 26 runs, 296 metres and 100 post-contact metres.

Four Warriors NRLW players helped the Cook Islands Moana to victory over Tonga in the Pacific Bowl, clinching a famous title success for the island nation. The sole Warriors player lining up for Tonga was halfback Emmanita Paki while exciting young outside back Caelys Putoko (Cook Islands) was the club's only representative in the men's Pacific Bowl contest.
