The Wright Family Foundation has extended its partnership with the Warriors Community Foundation through to 2028 again underlining a shared commitment to improving literacy, wellbeing and community connection across New Zealand.
This renewed partnership will see the Wright Family Foundation continue to support the delivery of the League in Libraries and Tupu Māia programmes empowering tamariki and rangatahi to thrive through literacy, confidence and wellbeing.
The partnership also supports the WCF’s vehicles, which enable programme delivery teams to reach communities across Tāmaki Makaurau and beyond.
Traci Fricker, WFF foundation manager, said the partnership reflects a shared belief in the potential of every young person.
“We’re delighted to continue supporting the Warriors Community Foundation,” she said.
“Over the past three years, they have shown how successful the impact of their League in Libraries and Tupu Māia programmes have been, and they align perfectly with our 'Growing the Good' ethos.
“We appreciate the mahi that goes into delivering such first-class programmes and are proud to continue supporting them for the next three years.”
Warriors Community Foundation CEO Lincoln Jefferson said the renewal is a testament to the ongoing impact being achieved.
“The Wright Family Foundation has been an incredible partner in our mission to create positive change,” he said.
“Their support ensures we can continue reaching thousands of tamariki and rangatahi through our literacy and wellbeing programmes. This renewal through to 2028 allows us to build on strong foundations and make an even greater difference in our communities.
“We hope to honour the legacy of Chloe Wright who was the catalyst for the success of our partnership.”
