NRLW Confirmed Lineup: Players back to boost side

Forward Makayla Eli has been confirmed as the 18th player for the One New Zealand Warriors’ NRLW season finale against the Wests Tigers at Campbelltown Sports Stadium today (12.00pm kick-off local time; 2.00pm NZT),

Utility back Kalyn Takitimu-Cook is the 19th player with Paris Pickering, Felila Kia and Metanoia Fotu-Moala the three players omitted at the 24-hour deadline.

Loose forward Laishon Albert-Jones and centre Tysha Ikenasio make their comebacks from suspension.

Albert-Jones, the Warriors’ most experienced forward, has missed the last two matches while Ikenasio has been sidelined for three games.

Albert-Jones slots back into loose forward with Ikenasio returning in the centres.

A change has been forced in the halves with promising rookie standoff Patricia Maliepo ruled out with injury, resulting in the versatile Emmanita Paki moving into the #6 jersey after being used at halfback in the last three games; she opened the season at centre and also started at fullback against the Raiders.

Last updated:

Lydia Turua-Quedley starts at halfback after filling in there in Sunday’s 6-26 loss to Brisbane after the Warriors lost Maliepo to injury and also had to deal with four players going off for head injury assessments.

With back rower Maarire Puketapu ruled out with concussion, the durable Kaiyah Atai switches back to the second row.

The Warriors face a Tigers side which has endured a challenging campaign with just one win in 10 games, going down 4-38 to Parramatta last week.

After four straight defeats, the Warriors are now ninth on the ladder with their loss to the Broncos ending their slim hopes of being in contention for the finals.
