JFC Team List: Resuming top eight bid after long break

After a bye followed by last week’s postponement, the One New Zealand Warriors will have to overcome an enforced three-week break when they resume their Jersey Flegg Cup (under-21) campaign against the Bulldogs at Leichhardt Oval in Sydney tomorrow (11.30am kick-off local time; 1.30pm NZT).

The TJ Ashford-coached side hasn’t played since a heavy 12-48 loss at home to competition leader Melbourne on July 19.

The following week there was a competition-wide bye round before last week’s scheduled round 22 clash against the Dragons was called off due to the venue in Wollongong being declared unplayable after torrential rain.

The New South Wales Rugby League is yet to make a decision on what will happen with the fixture.

Despite not playing the Warriors remain level on 22 points with the Roosters who lost to the Sea Eagles last week; the Roosters are eighth on points for and against.
