For the second week on end the One New Zealand Warriors run into top four opposition when they face the formidable Parramatta Eels in their round 15 Jersey Flegg Cup (under-21) match at Kellyville Park in Sydney on Saturday (11.00am kick-off local time; 1.00pm NZT).

It’s a demanding phase of the season with this being the third successive match on the road before the Warriors finally have a home game.

They gave the fourth-placed Cronulla Sutherland Sharks a real shake last Saturday, twice holding a two-point lead in the second half before losing 28-28.

Now they come up against a Parramatta side with a 10-3 record sitting just a point behind top of the table Melbourne.

The Warriors were full of game against the Sharks stitching together some quality passages of football with halves Jett Cleary and Jack Thompson both featuring.

A settled backline has been named to face the Eels while the starting pack selected has been shuffled with Emosi Ravosai, Paea Sikuvea and Presley Seumanu all included after being on the bench last week. The Warriors are missing Harry Durbin and Kahu Capper.

They head into the match sitting in ninth spot on 12 points, one behind the Dragons and Wests Tigers.
