Halfback Jett Cleary returns form a one-week lay-off to bolster the One New Zealand Warriors for their third-round Jersey Flegg Cup (under-21) clash against the Sydney Roosters at Navigation Homes Stadium in Pukekohe on Saturday (12.00pm kick-off).
Cleary was unavailable last week as he followed concussion protocols following a head knock in the club’s first-round loss to Canberra.
He resumes his combination this week with fellow former Penrith junior Luke Hanson as the Warriors bid for their first win of the season.
After slumping to a big defeat against Canberra, the Warriors produced a vastly-improved performance against Manly last Saturday before losing 28-32.
The Roosters are also seeking their first win of the season after losing 20-28 to North Sydney and 16-46 to Penrith.
