Injury report: Egan out for another one or two games

Vodafone Warriors hooker Wayde Egan is rated a chance of being available for the 12th round match against Newcastle at Moreton Daily Stadium on May 28.

A calf injury kept the first-choice dummy half out of last week’s game against South Sydney and has also ruled him out of this Saturday’s St George Illawarra encounter in Sydney.

If he continues to recover well, he could be ready for the Knights or otherwise the following week against Manly Warringah (June 4).

At least two players have come off the injury list this week and could be joined by a third.

Euan Aitken has passed all concussion protocols and has trained strongly this week to line up against the Dragons.

Centre Jesse Arthars is available after recovering from his shoulder injury while standoff Chanel Harris-Tavita (groin) has been named in the 24-man squad this week but it's unclear whether he will be ready.
