Autex Industries managing director Rob Croot (far right in photo above) has today been confirmed as the new chairman of the Vodafone Warriors board.

He replaces Cameron McGregor, who remains on the board as deputy chairman.

Croot joined Autex owner Mark Robinson as a director after the company partnered with the Carlaw Heritage Trust to buy the Vodafone Warriors in May this year.

Carlaw Heritage Trust’s directors are McGregor, Bruce Cameron, Kevin McDonald and Selwyn Pearson while Geoff Hipkins is an independent director.

Vodafone Warriors CEO Cameron George said it “will be business as usual” for the club following today’s appointments.
