After working their way to a 10-4 halftime lead, the Vodafone Junior Warriors conceded 24 second half points to lose 10-28 to a dominant Canterbury-Bankstown side in today’s second-round Jersey Flegg Cup match at Mount Smart Stadium.

The home side opened the scoring through right wing Kayal Iro later bagged a second close to halftime but that would be the end of the scoring for the Vodafone Junior Warriors.

The Bulldogs stormed into a 16-10 lead with two strikes early in the second half, withstood the Vodafone Junior Warriors’ efforts in possession and then finished off with another two tries to take an 18-point victory.
