Festive season cheer was in plentiful supply when the Vodafone Warriors joined in the fun - and in many cases led it - at the annual Kidz First Children’s Hospital Christmas Party at the SKYCITY Convention Centre.
About 200 Kidz First day care patients and care givers were on hand for an afternoon packed with entertainment along with loads of Christmas party food.
The Vodafone Warriors had their full NRL squad in attendance while the SKYCITY Breakers, Mystics and Blues also had players at the event.
Entering the spirit, Vodafone Warriors players put themselves about sitting alongside the kids playing games with them, reading stories and having their faces painted.
Among others present were champion shot putter and SKYCITY ambassador Valerie Adams as well as new Auckland mayor Phil Goff.
