Hard-working back rower Bodene Thompson joined the rest of the squad yesterday when he started preseason training following his break.

He was at Mountain View School in Mangere Bridge for the Downer NRL Auckland Nines draw when he spoke to Vodafone Warriors TV about the tournament and kicking off his 2017 campaign under the club's new coaching regime.
