Apart from the all-important win, other statistical features of the Vodafone Warriors’ 40-18 win over Newcastle included another 200-metre effort from fullback Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, an outstanding all-round contribution from Ben Matulino, 11 players making 10 or more runs and the team gaining a total of 1554 metres.

Tuivasa-Sheck made 203 metres from 21 runs, his fourth 200-metre return in his first four games for the club. He also came up with five tackle breaks and a try assist plus a key hand in another try.

Matulino played big minutes – 70 in total – finishing with 139 metres from 19 runs, two tackle breaks, a line break, his first try of the season and 30 tackles (only Simon Mannering made more with 31).
