The Vodafone Warriors plan to wear their main black strip in 14 of their 24 regular season games this year starting with their first-round away clash against Wests Tigers at Campbelltown Sports Stadium on Saturday (5.30pm kick-off local time; 7.30pm NZT).

The kit will also be worn in three other away games against Canterbury-Bankstown in Wellington (April 16), Cronulla at Shark Park (June 25) and Canberra at GIO Stadium (July 23).

The black kit will be seen in home games against Melbourne, Newcastle, Manly, St George Illawarra, Canberra, Brisbane, Gold Coast, South Sydney, Wests Tigers and Parramatta.

The only times the black outfit won’t appear at home will be against the Sydney Roosters and Penrith.

For the 15th-round clash against the Roosters, the Vodafone Warriors will be decked out in a striking 2002 replica kit while in round 21 they’ll be in their Women in League strip against the Panthers. The Women in League jersey was unveiled today.

The away kit will appear only eight times in matches when the Vodafone Warriors are required to wear their alternate silver outfit to avoid clashes with their opponents’ preferred strips. This will be the case against Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium tomorrow week (March 11) and then in matches against the Roosters, Melbourne, Penrith, Newcastle, Manly, Gold Coast and North Queensland.
