Six players with NRL experience have been named to line up for the Vodafone Warriors in their first-round New South Wales Cup clash against Newcastle at Hunter Stadium tomorrow (2.10pm kick-off local time; 4.10pm NZT).

Dominique Peyroux (32 NRL appearances) and Matt Allwood (11) have been teamed up in the centres while Sione Lousi (42) and Sebastine Ikahihifo (30) are included in the starting pack.

Named on the bench are John Palavi – two appearances last year – and one-game Vodafone Warrior Upu Poching.

Moving up another level in his coaching career is club legend Stacey Jones, who guided the Vodafone Junior Warriors to the NYC premiership in his rookie season last year.
