A virus has ruled fullback Sam Tomkins out of the Vodafone Warriors’ games against Gold Coast and Canberra at the 2015 Dick Smith NRL Auckland Nines at Eden Park today.

Head coach Andrew McFadden has confirmed Tomkins won’t play today. He will stay at the team's hotel and it's hoped he'll recover to play ttomorrow.
