Vodafone Warriors members Fiona Anderson and her son Marc had an ultimate fan experience when they won the right to spend time with rugby league legend Brad Fittler at Mount Smart Stadium.

Fiona was among hundreds of entrants in the hunt for one of two prizes in our Facebook promotion last week; on offer were two gold passes to the 2015 Dick Smith NRL Auckland Nines or the chance to meet Fittler.

The 42-year-old former Kangaroos, New South Wales, Penrith and Roosters star was in Auckland as an NRL Nines ambassador to promote next year's extranaganza. He lit up the 2014 event with his 70-metre intercept try for the Roosters against the Broncos.

Fittler joined Fiona and Marc at Vodafone Warriors headquarters to talk rugby league with them. The NRL, the Nines, the Kiwis' Four Nations win and the Vodafone Warriors' 2015 propects were all discussed while Fittler also threw passes with Marc.

"It was fun," said Fiona.

"Brad is a really nice guy. We got to ask a few questions, talk about the Kiwis' victory and Marc threw the ball around with him.

"He signed a Vodafone Warriors T shirt for me, we were given our new 2015 membership packs and we were also given tickets to the Nines. Well looked after by the Vodafone Warriors' office team."

Fittler also did an interview with Vodafone Warriors TV.
