Vodafone Warriors TV interviewed Junior Kiwis captain Manaia Cherrington and Zach Dockar-Clay ahead of Saturday's international against the Junior Kangaroos at Mount Smart Stadium (7.00pm kick-off).

Both players were impressed after having a look at the Vodafone Warriors' facilities on Wednesday.

Wests Tigers hooker Cherrington and Parramatta halfback Dockar-Clay are two of the three survivors from the Junior Kiwis' loss to the Australian in Sydney last year.

The Whangarei-born Cherrington (20) is expecting about 50 family members to travel from the Bay of Islands for the game. He has never played at Mount Smart Stadium before.

Dockar-Clay, still NYC eligible next year, has previous playing experience at Mount Smart Stadium as recently as July when the Eels snatched a last-minute 22-19 win against the Vodafone Junior Warriors.
